E-LEARNING / INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

EduHub / E-Learning Platform

A clearer path
to the right course.

A course-discovery project focused on helping students find their way through an e-learning platform.

My role
Sole UX/UI designer
Project focus
Information architecture, interactive prototyping, A/B testing
Tools
Figma, Canva, Miro, Adobe XD

01 / THE CHALLENGE

Finding the right course.

Students struggled to find courses, while high dropout rates put the platform’s success at risk. The design challenge was to make discovery clearer and help learners move toward a course that fits their needs.

CONCEPT SCREENS / THE LEARNING JOURNEY

Find it. Understand it. Learn it.

Concept visualizations created for this portfolio, using sample course content. These screens do not document a launched product or completed user testing.

02 / MY APPROACH

Structure before polish.

My approach combined a redesigned information architecture, interactive prototypes, and A/B testing to evaluate the design direction.

Project approach at a glance

  1. 01Course discovery is difficult
  2. 02Restructure information architecture
  3. 03Evaluate alternative experiences

03 / DESIGN DIRECTION

The reasoning
behind the direction.

01

Start with structure

The documented solution centers on information architecture. A clearer organization of content addresses the discovery problem before adding visual polish.

02

Make the direction testable

Interactive prototypes make navigation decisions tangible and provide something concrete to evaluate. A/B testing is the evaluation method described in the portfolio.

04 / NEXT ITERATION

What I would test next.

I would compare how easily learners can find an appropriate course across the original and redesigned structures, using task completion, navigation errors, and time on task. I would also examine whether an easier discovery experience translates into sustained learning.

These are proposed evaluation questions, rather than findings from a completed study.
