PROJECT UX / CONTRACT INFORMATION
Terms of service
Updated: 25 October 2026
1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to UX/UI services provided by Meryem Dogan, operating as Project UX, Max-Brod-Straße 20, 44328 Dortmund, Germany. Contact: dogan@directbox.com. They cover both business clients and consumers. Individually negotiated agreements take precedence.
2. Enquiries and contracts
This website presents the available services. A contact-form message is an enquiry and does not create a paid order. A contract is formed when a specific proposal stating the scope and price is accepted. These terms must be provided before the contract is concluded and validly agreed.
3. Scope and collaboration
The individual proposal defines the scope. Services may include user research, interviews, UX analysis, UX/UI design, prototyping, and usability testing. The proposal specifies deliverables, file formats, dates, and required client contributions. Scope changes and any resulting additional fees or schedule changes are agreed before additional work begins.
4. Fixed fees and payment
The proposal sets a fixed fee for the agreed service. Consumer proposals state the total price including any applicable taxes and agreed additional charges. Invoices are payable within seven calendar days of receipt unless a different payment arrangement is expressly agreed. Deposits or instalments are due only where expressly agreed.
5. Revisions and additional work
The proposal specifies the number and scope of included revision rounds. Further rounds or changes outside the agreed scope are charged only after the client agrees to the additional scope and price. Statutory rights concerning defects are unaffected; correcting a defect is not a chargeable additional revision.
6. Client contributions and materials
Required content, information, approvals, and access are provided as agreed for the project. Any scheduling implications of missing contributions are discussed promptly. Clients may only supply materials for use where they hold the necessary rights. The handling of confidential information, research participants, and personal research data is clarified for the project before the relevant processing takes place.
7. Usage rights and handover
The proposal defines the scope, purpose, and timing of usage rights and the delivery of editable files. Presenting services on this website does not, by itself, promise exclusive rights or delivery of all working files. Third-party content, fonts, images, and software may carry separate licence terms; required licences and additional costs are agreed before they are commissioned. Client work is published as a reference only with separate approval.
8. Defects, liability, and termination
Statutory provisions govern defects, liability, and termination. These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability or a flat cancellation fee. Statutory termination, rescission, and consumer withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
9. Consumer withdrawal
Consumers may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts and contracts concluded away from business premises. Information for service contracts and a withdrawal declaration template are available on the linked withdrawal page. Information required for the specific contract is provided before it is concluded.
